This is a guide that provides information about  foods acceptable in Muslims community, when you move around the world you notice all Muslim practice Islam, practicing Islam includes observing dietary laws which from Islamic teachings, Islamic laws define foods that are Halal, Which means permitted, probably we are talking about guide to acceptable foods in the Islamic practice.
it's important for an individual to know and obey his or her culture remember it's important everyone might have his own perspective. Muslims avoid foods which are Haram which means not accepted. i will give you some ideas on how to plan and make foods and snacks for the Muslim community,

1..  make sure you indicate the Halal certification symbol.
2.. Provide a vegetarian entree using legumes as an alternative to meat dishes.
3.. Read food label carefully before purchasing..

     Here are some list of Haram foods(not permitted)

1,,  Pork and it's by products e.g lipase,pepsin
2,, Meat from animal which is not slaughtered according to the Islamic dietary law
3,, Alcohol and foods prepares with alcohol like cake made with rum.
4,, Foods containing blood
5,, Foods made from or contain pure or artificial vanilla extract,

 List of foods recommended by Muhammad

Dates are free from cholesterol and contain very low fat. They are rich in vitamins and minerals and are a good source of dietary fiber, tannins, vitamin-A, iron, Potassium, calcium, manganese, copper and pyridoxine (vitamin B-6)

Figs are low in calories and good for bones. They are also known as one of the fruits of Jannah and offer various health benefits, nutrients and anti-oxidants.

The Prophet (PBUH) was very fond of grapes. They are useful in purifying the blood, provide vigour and health, strengthen the kidneys and clear the bowels due to their high fiber content.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said. “Honey is the cure of every stomach disease”. He use to drink honey + water in the morning. In fact honey is considered the best remedy for diarrhea when mixed in hot water. It is the food of foods, drink of drinks and drug of drugs. It is used for improving appetite, strengthening the stomach, eliminating phlegm; as a meat preservative, hair conditioner, eye soother and mouthwash.

Water Melon...
The Prophet (PBUH) said: “None of your women who are pregnant and eat of water melon will fail to produce off spring that is good in countenance”. Melons also have very high water content and are great for hot summers.
